RemARKable Blog Tour July

Welcome to the RemARKable Blog Tour for July!

I've been watching the Olympic trials on TV and I thought I might be able to make the Olympic rings with the Swirly Bird thinlets! It worked! I think this could work for a summer congratulations card.

Here's the real Olympic rings:

Details: The little thinlets have leaves on the circles. So you have to cut the little leaves off the circles and cut off the inner circle to make rings. Also - notice that the rings intertwine in the actual Olympic rings - your little scissors work for that too! Once you cut them, you can stick the rings in place with the fine tip glue pen. Tweezers help!
I found the Delightful Dijon striped DSP from the 2015-2017 In-Color Designer Series Papers looked pretty golden and slipped it behind thick Whisper White card stock for the background. You need to use the thick card stock so the stripes don't peek through.

I just had to share - scientists have invented a new color YInMn Blue. I think it's pretty close to Pacific Point, don't you think?

and as long as we are on the subject of chemistry - get ready for the 4th!
